5/18 – “National Nurses United: Chicago Rally to Protest Global 1%” rally – Noon, Daley Plaza. City estimates 5,000 will be in attendance.

5/18 – “Environmental Justice Alliance” march – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Daley Plaza. The group will be walking around the Loop, issuing warrants for arrest of the corporations and government organizations responsible for destabilizing the climate.
5/18 – “The People’s Assembly: Occupy Movement Building Discussion” rally – 4:00 p.m. Congress and Michigan by the Bowman statue. An open meeting is planned for members of the movement to discuss the past present and future of Occupy. Rally could move to Butler Field.
5/18 – “Jokescouncil Action Coordination (Clown Bloq)” meeting – 6:00 p.m. Wellington Church, 615 W. Wellington Ave. Supporters will be trained in traditional clowning and tactical organization.

5/19 – Intermittent closures begin at 6:00 p.m. around Willis Tower on South Franklin Street from West Adams Street to West Jackson Blvd. Adams Street (North side of Willis Tower) and South Upper Wacker Drive (West side of Willis Tower) are closed due to construction.

5/20 – “Amnesty International” rally – 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Navy Pier. Approximately 70 individuals representing Amnesty International USA to march at South Gateway Park at Navy Pier. The group will fly kites, read speeches and poetry.
