5/18 – 5/19 – The Marriage and Civil Union Court, 119 W. Randolph St., will close at 5:00 p.m. instead of 9:00 p.m. and will be closed Saturday.
5/18 & 5/21 –Two Illinois Secretary of State locations in the Loop, 69 W. Washington St. and 17 N. State St., will be closed today and Monday.
5/18 – “Journalists Review Press Coverage of NATO Meetings” gathering – 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Rosa’s Lounge, 3420 W. Armitage Ave. Journalists discuss how media has covered events leading up to NATO meetings.
5/18 – “Voices for Humanity: Arts to Oppose NATO” gathering – 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square, 2649 N. Francisco Ave.
5/18 – “The Peoples’ Assembly: Occupy Movement Building Discussion” gathering – 7:00 p.m. Michigan and Congress or Butler Field (Monroe and Lake Shore Drive). Group will meet to discuss what they want to get out of NATO and what they want to do after NATO.

5/19 – “Healthcare no Warfare! Take the Fight to Rahm’s House!” gathering and march – 10:00 a.m., CTA Irving Park Brown Line stop. Protestors are gathering and marching with the Mental Health Movement to Mayor Emanuel’s house, 4228 N. Hermitage Ave.
5/19 – Intermittent closures begin at 6:00 p.m. around Willis Tower on South Franklin Street from West Adams Street to West Jackson Blvd. Adams Street (North side of Willis Tower) and South Upper Wacker Drive (West side of Willis Tower) are closed due to construction.

5/20 – “Amnesty International” rally – 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Navy Pier. Approximately 70 individuals representing Amnesty International USA to march at South Gateway Park at Navy Pier. The group will fly kites, read speeches and poetry.
5/20 – “Walk a Mile in My Shoes!” gathering and march – 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Group will meet at Parkman School, 255 W. 51st St. and march to various locations: 155 W. 51st St., 5100 S. State St., 319 E. 51st St., 500 E. 51st St. and 555 E. 51st St.
