Paul Ryan’s Chicago fundraiser has been postponed until Friday due to the Affordable Care Act repeal vote today in Washington. Protest organizers are still calling for the scheduled rally today at Federal Plaza to coincide with the anniversary of the ACA. The SEIU is promoting the Thursday and Friday protests, which tends to draw more people. The warm weather Friday may also draw more people. If you are in the vicinity of the Federal Center or Michigan and Van Buren, you may want to have security staff near your doors in the late afternoon and early evening Thursday and Friday. CPD will be on site for these events and OEMC will monitor.
