- 2:00 pm or 4:00 pm at 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza). The group will gather for their cause “Day After Day Demand Trump/Pence Out Now!” [Through Election, Start Times Vary]
Saturday, October 10th, 2020
- 6:00 am or 8:00 am at S Michigan and E Ida Wells. The group will gather for their cause “Chicago: October Justice Walk/Run.”
Sunday, October 11th, 2020
- 12:00 pm at a TBD Loop location. The group will gather for their cause “Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage Against Colonialism.”
Monday, October 12th, 2020
- The time is TBD and at S Columbus / E Roosevelt (Grant Park former Columbus Statue). The group will gather for their cause “Columbus Day Protest.”
- 10:00 am at 801 S Loomis (Arrigo Park). The group will gather for their cause ” Columbus Day Rally & Caravan.”
Saturday, October 17th, 2020
- 10:00 am at Grant Park/TBD. The group will gather for their cause “Nationwide Women’s March.”
- 5:00 pm at 69 W Washington (Cook County). The group will gather for their cause “BLM March & Rally: 75 Women of Color Murdered Memorial.”
Saturday, October 24th, 2020
- 12:00 pm at N Michigan / E Madison (Millennium Park). The group will gather for their cause “Paint Black Lives Matter Rosa Parks Mural on Millennium Park.”
Tuesday, October 27th, 2020
- 12:00 pm at 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza). The group will gather for their cause “Equal Pay Day Rally 2020.”
Friday, October 30th, 2020
- 5:00 pm at 1412 W Washington (Fraternal Order of Police). The group will gather for their cause “Black Lives Matter: FOP Endorses Racist Trump.”
Safety Tips:
- If you see something suspicious, report it
- Carry water and stay hydrated
- Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
- Utilize the buddy system
- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
- Leave any valuables at home
- Do not jump any barricades
- Secure handbags and wallets
- Stay calm and pleasant
- Follow your own instincts
- Leave yourself room to move quickly
- If you see an unattended bag, alert police as quickly as possible
