As National Preparedness Month comes to an end, Titan wanted to remind everyone of the importance in staying prepared for emergency situations. The steps listed below are necessary in preparing your friends, family, and coworkers for an emergency:
- Get an Emergency Kit – put together a disaster supplies kit consisting of food, water, and basic items you may need in case of a disaster
- Create an Emergency Action Plan – Make plans with family, friends, and coworkers on the appropriate steps to take in preparation for an emergency

- Be informed – Check all types of media for local, national, and global news
- Download local weather apps and watch for hazardous weather conditions in your area
- Get involved – Look into taking first aid and emergency response training, participating in community exercises, and volunteering to support local first responders
- Talk with your Neighbors- Meet with your neighbors and discuss your emergency plans as a community
