Planned Protests/Assemblies
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1200 Hours, Rally, James R. Thompson Center – 100 W. Randolph Street. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Re-Open Illinois.”
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1300 Hours, Protest, The Island – 6372 S. Archer Avenue. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Midway for Black Lives Matter.”
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1300 Hours, Protest & March, 4000 N. Kedzie Avenue to the Centennial Monument at Kedzie & Milwaukee Avenues. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Peaceful Protest.”
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1300 Hours, Protest, 3857 W. 111th Street. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Their Fight is Your Fight.”
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1300 Hours, Protest/March, Kennedy High School (6325 W 56th St). The current route is North to 55th, then East to Central.
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1700 Hours, Lincoln Park High School, 2001 N Orchard. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Defund CPD Now”.
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1800 Hours, Protest, 6300 S. Central Avenue. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Peaceful Protest.”
- Thursday, 04 June 2020, 1900 Hours, 4655 S Dearborn. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “CPD out of CPS Rally and March”. The group will march to an unknown CPD location.
- Friday, 05 June 2020, 1100 Hours, Rally, Little Village Lawndale High School Campus – 3120 S. Kostner Avenue. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Unity March on 26th.”
- Friday, 05 June 2020, 1500 Hours, Rally, F.O.P. Chicago Lodge No. 7 – 1412 W. Washington Blvd. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “FOP New Leadership Will Not Change.”
- Friday, 05 June 2020, 1630-2000 Hours, Rally & March, Unk Location in Bridgeport Neighborhood. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Mass March: Stand Up to Bridgeport Vigilantes! Racism out of Bridgeport! #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd.“
- Saturday, 06 June 2020, 1000-1100 Hours, Edgebrook Elementary School – 5600 W. Hiawatha Avenue to Wildwood Elementary School – 6950 N. Hiawatha Avenue. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Walk to Recognize Racism.”
- Saturday, 06 June 2020, 1100 Hours, Humboldt Park Boathouse – 1301 N. Humboldt Drive. The group will assemble for their campaign, “Chicago March of Justice for George Floyd.” The group may attempt to march towards Daley Plaza.
- Saturday, 06 June 2020, 1100 Hours, 2100 S Michigan Ave. Group will be marching towards Millennium Park.
- Saturday, 06 June 2020, 1100 – 1400 Hours, Rally, California and North Ave. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Union Contingent for #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd.”
- Saturday, 06 June 2020, 1400-2100 Hours, Rally, Ohio Street Beach – 600 N. Lake Shore Drive. The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Ohio Street Beach Protest.”

Public Transit Update
CTA
- Bus and rail service have resumed thru the downtown area. Trains will bypass some stations. Multiple bus routes rerouted due to local bridge/street closures. Check website for latest updates. https://www.transitchicago.com/
PACE
- All operating Pace service, including I-55 Bus on Shoulder Express Service and City of Chicago ADA Paratransit Service to the city center, has resumed. Service updates are available via: https://www.pacebus.com/
Metra
- Metra will continue to operate on a modified Sunday schedule through Sunday, June 7th. No service on the SouthWest Service, Heritage Corridor or North Central Service lines. Service updates are available via: https://metrarail.com/
South Shore Line
- Service resumed Wednesday (6/3), operating day modified schedule. Wednesday service ended @ 10:40p. The last train out of Chicago departed Millennium Station @ 10:40p. Service updates are available via: https://www.mysouthshoreline.com/
Public Health
- All City of Chicago COVID-19 testing sites will be open Thursday, June 4th.
Safety Tips:
- If you see something suspicious, report it
- Carry water and stay hydrated
- Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
- Utilize the buddy system
- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
- Leave any valuables at home
- Do not jump any barricades
- Secure handbags and wallets
- Stay calm and pleasant
- Follow your own instincts
- Leave yourself room to move quickly
- If you see an unattended bag, alert police as quickly as possible
