Titan Security Group attended the December Chicago Cultural Properties Security Group (CCPSG) Meeting at the Museum of Science and Industry. Discussions from this meeting included the following.
- How CCPSG members can support OEMC during emergencies, such as providing first-hand reporting or making floor space available to response agenices
- A roundtable discussion about the interaction with OEMC and the city’s emergency operations center (EOC) during crisis incidents, or large-scale planned events
- Tentative quarterly meeting dates in 2020 will include a Q1 eeting at the Notebaert Nature Museum
- A summary and overview was provided of the large active-shooter exercise recently held at Lincoln Park Zoo
Institutions in attendance included: Adler Planetarium, Chicago History Museum, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, MSI, McCormick Place, Lincoln Park Zoo, Millennium Park, Harris Theater, Old Town School of Music, and OEMC.
