The open meeting focused on the threat of home grown extremism, radicalization, and domestic terrorism. Officer Meene from DHS addressed the psychology of extremism and radicalization and recognizing behavioral warning signs, in addition to current domestic terrorism threat awareness, and counterterrorism measures.
